A quick note on Microtransponder
As you could no doubt imagine, I’ve been bursting at the seams to discuss the good news happening at Microtransponder…I wanted to take minute to clarify this transition from CEO to Chairman. Frank McEachern, now CEO has been Chairman and CFO, he was also my co-founder. He has been involved in every decision since inception. We have been best friends since high school. He is the smartest, most driven and capable person I’ve ever met.
It was an easy decision to switch roles with him, since he has been running the operations of the Company for nearly 5 years. I will better serve in my role as Chairman of the company, as Microtransponder moves into a clinical trial and eventually commercialization.
Over the next few weeks you will see press releases showing the results of almost a year of our efforts fundraising. This news will involve millions of dollars of support from grant agencies and investors, all of who are very excited about our prospects for success. In addition, we will be announcing the start of US clinical trials…we are delaying the details of these announcements because our clinical sites aren’t ready for the influx of calls from tinnitus sufferers who will want to be a part of the trial…be patient, more good news to come. We are a small company who has a team of 9 employees who are doing the work of companies who have 30 or 40 employees…(don’t tell them that or they will want raises)
